There has been much excitement over the announcements of results of the Gene Therapy trials conducted by Dr Robin Ali (fast becoming a hero in my world!). The trial is for a treatment for LCA, Leber's Congenital Amaurosis, a rare form of a Retinal Disease / Retinitis Pigmentosa and has produced some amazing results.
