New York medical malpractice attorneys Cory Rosenbaum and Robert Fader announce the launch of StrokeLaw.com, the flagship website of their new practice. The new site, created by Rosenbaum and Fader, provides the general public with critical information regarding the causes and signs of stroke as well as the legal rights of victims of stroke malpractice and negligence.

Almost 800,000 Americans suffer a stroke each year, and despite the fact that stroke is the fourth leading cause of deaths in the U.S., very few attorneys focus their attention on the medical issues and legal rights of stroke victims

We created StrokeLaw.com to provide vital information on stroke medicine as well as free information about a persons right to sue doctors and hospitals when they fail to diagnose or treat stroke properly, said Cory Rosenbaum, founder and attorney at Stroke Law.

It is well documented that each and every year thousands of people who suffer a stroke across the United States are either misdiagnosed or their treatment is delayed. The results can be lifelong disabilities and death. We know from recent studies that almost 14% of all strokes in the U.S. are misdiagnosed. That statistic is astonishing, but even more so is the fact that this percentage is significantly higher for minorities and women, said co-founding attorney, Robert Fader.

Visitors to the Stroke Law website will find quick and easy access to informative articles and news briefs for stroke victims, their families and stroke caregivers. Some of the many topics covered include stroke injury and death from stroke, causes of stroke, types of stroke and your legal rights if you or a loved one has suffered injuries or died from a stroke.

On a personal level, we have seen doctors and hospitals make mistakes in treating stroke victims, said Rosenbaum. When a stroke is misdiagnosed or not treated properly by doctors and hospitals, the effects on an individual and their families can be devastating.

There are many early warning signs of stroke, including mini stroke, or TIA (transient ischemic attack), which is triggered when the blood flow to a part of the brain stops for a brief period of time. A TIA can often be the precursor to a person having a much more sever stroke in the future. In far too many cases the signs of stroke and mini strokes are undetected, misdiagnosed or not treated properly. In fact, stroke victims that do not receive the critical early treatment drug known as t-PA (tissue plasminogen activator) are much more likely to suffer a lifelong injury, which could have been be prevented or more easily rehabilitated from had t-PA been administered from the onset of a stroke attack.

Rosenbaum and Fader have represented medical malpractice victims for decades. They understand the medical issues surrounding stroke and stroke malpractice. They also know that access to accurate and helpful information on strokes and stroke law isnt always available. There are many thousands of people who are suffering from lifelong, debilitating injuries because their stroke wasnt diagnosed properly or their treatment was delayed. We are happy to offer free consultations to anyone that wants to discuss their legal rights regarding stroke or any other form of medical malpractice, said Robert Fader.

If the number of calls to Stroke Law (1-844-STROKE-1) and traffic on their website is any indication, attorneys Rosenbaum and Fader are about to fill a conspicuous and otherwise unaddressed void in the area of legal advice for stroke victims.
