RUSSELL, Ky. -- Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital has received the Get With The Guildlines Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures for the treatment of stroke patients.

Get With The Guildlines Stroke helps hospital teams provide the most up-to-date, research-based guidelines with the goal of speeding recovery and reducing death and disability for stroke patients.

"With this award, our hospital demonstrates our commitment to ensure that our patients receive care based on internationally respected clinical guidelines," said OLBH stroke coordinator Natalie Grizzle.

HUNTINGTON -- Winston Munro, owner of Ponderosa Steakhouse in Huntington, has joined parent company Homestyle Dining LLC in contributing $15,000 to Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.

This is the second year Homestyle Dining and its franchisees have participated in the campaign that helps connect children across the country with nutritious food.

"In this great country of ours, and even here in Huntington, it's just not acceptable that one single child goes hungry," Munro said. "On behalf of all the wonderful staff here at Ponderosa in Huntington, I am honored to be able to contribute to this very worthwhile cause."
