CBRE named exclusive leasing agent for growing salt therapy provider – NJBIZ

Salt therapy is a rapidly growing segment of the health care industry. It provides all-natural relief from asthma, allergies, eczema, psoriasis, sinusitis and other respiratory conditions.

One of the leaders in that sector, The Salt Suite, said Wednesday it retained CBRE as its exclusive agent to create and execute a franchise expansion program throughout the nation with a goal of opening up to 1,000 new locations.

CBRE retail specialist Joe AmecAngelo will oversee the targeted leasing campaign onbehalf of The Salt Suite. AmecAngelo will work with Salt Suite executives to find locations for new and existing franchisees across the country, with an initial focus on the East Coast and other markets to strategically grow the companys brand.

Founded in 2010, The Salt Suite currently operates seven locations in Florida and NewJersey, with several more in construction/development. The company is currentlytargeting high-profile locations of approximately 2,000-square-feet adjacent to existing high-end fitness and health care retailers. Optimal sites include shopping malls and strip centers with high traffic and visibility and easy access to major roadways.

As Americans continue to seek natural cost-effective self-care solutions, many havecited salt therapy as one of the fastest growing segments in the health and wellnessmarket, and this expansion is a bright spot in the current retail landscape, said AmecAngelo. The Salt Suite also has a track record as a corporate good neighbor,actively participating in various charities committed to enhancing and strengthening localcommunities.

Current New Jersey locations include 320 Young Ave. in Moorestown, 910 Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Voorhees Township and 1800 Highway 35 in Ocean Township (under construction).
