We are seeking to appoint for January 2015 a well-qualified teacher to take responsibility for the leadership of Biology and assist in the management of the Science Faculty in this large 11 - 19 school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher to work in a well-resourced and supportive Faculty with opportunities to teach Science and lead Biology across all three key stages.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for Biology, a keen interest in working with young people and a commitment to ensuring that all students achieve well in the subject.

Plume School is a friendly and supportive school where the professional development of all our staff is given a very high priority. In January 2014 Ofsted confirmed Plume as a 'good' school in all areas and acknowledged our strong community links.

Plume School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are therefore subject to satisfactory DBS and Immigration Checks, together with the receipt of references.

Visits to the school are welcome.
