CARD Capital, the investment arm of the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD), today announced the acquisition of The Gateway Center. The Gateway Center is a provider of evidence-based services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) located at 74 N. Pecos Road, Suite C in Henderson, Nev. Hereafter, it will operate as CARD Henderson The acquisition increases CARDs national footprint to 38 offices across 14 states. CARD is one of the worlds largest providers of evidence-based autism treatment, using the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to treat individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism. Over the past 40 years, thousands of research studies have documented the effectiveness of ABA in treating the deficits and behaviors associated with ASD, and ABA is the only treatment for ASD that has been empirically proven to produce significant long-term improvement and, in some cases, recovery from autism.

The Gateway Center was founded by Jonathan Still, MD, a board certified psychiatrist, and Meredith Still to increase access to specialized treatments and to improve the quality of life for children and adults with behavioral and developmental disorders. Dr. Still will continue to operate a private practice out of CARD Henderson and serve as an advisor.
