Jolene Runkel is employed by the Iowa Heart Center and specializes in cardiology. She received her nursing degree from the Mercy College of Health Sciences and completed her nurse practitioner training at the Creighton University Medical School.

Dr. Wickemeyer is employed by the Iowa Heart Center and specializes in cardiology. He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his medical degree from the New York Medical College. He completed an internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine. He serves as medical director of the heart transplantation program at Mercy Medical Center. He is board certified in general and nuclear cardiology.
