CRIME REPORT: Memphis police investigate pharmacy robberies

Four pharmacy robberies in the past two weeks have Memphis Police Department searching for two suspects.

The two suspects have been described as male black, between 25 and 40 years old, from 5-9 to 6-2 in height, 180 to 245 pounds, with medium to dark complexions.

Police reports offered the following details about the robberies:

** The first robbery occurred at the Walgreens Pharmacy at 3515 Park on June 21 at 1:10 a.m. One of the suspects walked in and posed as a customer.

When the pharmacy technician turned her back, the suspect jumped over the counter and stole several bottles of prescription medication.

There was no weapon seen, but it was implied.

The suspect fled in a white 4-door vehicle.

** Four days later, the Walgreens Pharmacy at 6310 Poplar was robbed at 3:02 a.m.

Two male suspects entered posing as customers, and once again, jumped over the counter to steal prescription medication.

Officers were told that the suspects fled in a white vehicle.
