SHOCKING new photos of Michael Jacksons bedroom littered with drugs, gas canisters and a strange shrine to BABIES were released yesterday.

They show the terrible state of his home when he died of an overdose at 50 in June 2009 four years ago this month.

Bottles of prescription pills and over-the-counter drugs are scattered everywhere. Medical kit is even strewn across his unmade double bed and wooden floor. Bizarrely, at the foot of the bed is a poster of a giggling child poking out his tongue with the words Sweet Baby.

Portraits of babies, believed NOT to be the stars children, line a wooden dresser along with a picture of Charlie Chaplin, a gilded mirror and family photos.

The new pictures, taken at the superstars $100,000-a-month rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive, Los Angeles, have been released by friends of the Jacksons.

They want them to show the shambolic conditions in which the tragic Thriller singer spent his final days. The family are suing concert promoters AEG Live for $40billion, claiming it missed warning signs about Jackos ailing health and failed to properly investigate Dr Conrad Murray, the medic convicted of killing him by administering a lethal drug dose.
