Loved ones of cerebral palsy sufferer Lily Ketherington are raising cash for a life-changing operation in America

Laughing and giggling, little Lily Ketteringham wishes she could run around with her brother and sisters.

The five-year-old cant walk or stand unaided after being diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of nine months.

But now Lily has been accepted by an American hospital for pioneering surgery which could change her life.

The operation, developed in the United States, will cost around 35,000 and will help Lily to walk properly.

Her dad Stephen, 41, has thrown himself into fundraising to raise money for the treatment in The Childrens Hospital, St Louis, in Missouri.
