Brave Litherland boy Finn McEwen met his Everton heroes at Finch Farm this afternoon.

Finn, 7, who suffers from bone marrow failure and is in desperate need of a stem cell transplant, met the first team players following their return from Kiev.

He is a particular fan of striker Romelu Lukaku so he was very excited to meet the Belgian player.

He and his brother Lucas, 6, also met players including James McCarthy, Tony Hibbert and Sylvain Distin.

Finn and his family had lunch in the Finch Farm canteen and were given a tour of the training ground.

The boys and dad Neil, 46, also met Everton legend Graeme Sharp and the players signed a shirt for him.

Graeme urged people to support Finn by registering to see if they are a match.

He said: Registration is really simple, it is not an intrusive process.

Initially it involves logging your details online, receiving a pack in the post, using a swab and brushing the inside of your mouth and sending it back. It really is that simple and it could ultimately save Finns and other peoples lives.
