I am very proud to be able to share some of the expertise and techniques we have developed and refined here at Epione Medical Center in Beverly Hills for the past 15 years. This educational activity is designed to serve as a primer to those of you interested in the practice of aesthetic medicine. By no means is this a comprehensive curriculum but rather a systematic approach to learning the key essentials of using nonsurgical approaches to facial cosmetic enhancement with a primary focus on neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Here we will demonstrate and discuss the importance of patient interactions, the development of treatment plans, setting realistic expectations and the use of these nonsurgical agents used for facial enhancements.

Our claim to fame at Epione is "no scalpel required", which has been our successful approach to facial rejuvenation to counter the aging process.

I hope you will be able to take advantage of our experience in order to be successful with the practice of aesthetic medicine.

Simon Ourian, MD Director, Epione Medical Center Beverly Hills, California
