The 20-year-old model has just launched her new tanning lotion called Filter by Molly-Mae.

While taking fans in a behind-the-scenes look at how the product came about, she talked about her battle with her skin.

She explained: I have very sensitive skin. I have eczema and one of the things I really wanted to make sure this tan was good for sensitive skin.

I never used to have sensitive skin, but since I was home the last few months, stress has led me to develop eczema and other things.

I have developed eczema now, he added.

Molly also assured viewers that the product is vegan and free of animal cruelty because it was something that was very important to the young star.

Molly-Mae was recently criticized for having a darker base tone.

Some people felt that the tone used by the Love Island star in their previous makeup tutorial was too dark for their natural skin tone.

She addressed the controversy, saying: Then, many of you will be delighted to know that I have really changed my base.

Should I have changed my base because of what everyone was saying about my last video? Probably not. I did? Yes.

This is the base Ive been using for years, I just used it again, he said of the new tone. I use it in the shadow of Barcelona and if someone is offended by that, Im sorry.

Reflecting more, Molly-Mae added: I have already passed the point of having something to say. I never realized how many people I could offend by applying base and yes, I dont know.

I dont even know what to say about it.

Love Island will return to ITV2 in 2020.
