Newspaper's online Cutest Baby Contest kicks off

Do you have the cutest baby around?

Enter your child in the La Junta Tribune-Democrat's online Cutest Baby Contest. To get started, visit the Cutest Baby link at http://www.lajuntatribunedemocrat.com. This contest is open to babies up to 24 months old. Entries will be accepted now through Jan. 14.

There is a $10 entry fee. Entries can be paid online or people can stop by the Tribune-Democrat office at 422 Colorado Ave. with a picture of a child and the entry fee.

People will place votes online for the cutest baby. Voting begins Jan. 15 and runs through Jan. 29.

Winners will be announced Jan. 30 through Feb. 5.

Your baby's photo will appear in our special keepsake "Cutest Babies" section published on Feb. 5 and displayed in our online gallery.

Harris Pharmacy is the primary sponsor of this year's event. Colorado QuitLine and Pizza Hut are also sponsoring the contest.

The Grand Prize winner will receive from Harris Pharmacy a $20 gift card, Melissa and Doug toy, Blanket Babies giraffe, Snoozies slippers, Snuggle Duffles and a basket.
