In a live webcast on Wednesday, October 4 at 3:00 pm (CDT), surgeons at the Neuroscience Institute at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center will perform a pediatric hemispherectomy. A hemispherectomy is a combination of surgical removal and disconnection of one half of the brain.
