Pharmacy Guild welcomes new Chief Executive

The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand (the Guild) is delighted to announce that Lee Hohaia has accepted the role of Chief Executive. Mrs Hohaia will start on 14 January 2013.

Mrs Hohaia is a pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy, general practice and change management. She joins the Guild from Southern Cross Primary Care, where she is the Business Manager. Her previous roles include General Manager - PrimeHealth, General Manager Networks - First Health, and Chief Operating Officer, Health Partners and Clinical Strategy - Southern Cross Health Society.

"I am excited to join the Guild during a period of change and innovation," says Mrs Hohaia. "I look forward to connecting with members and working with the team at headquarters to enhance the value of Guild membership."

"I am delighted the Guild has secured a Chief Executive of such high calibre," says the Guilds Executive Chair, Karen Crisp. "The Board were committed to finding the best candidate to lead the Guild in the new pharmacy environment and we are confident that Lee has the experience, skills and personal qualities to strengthen and grow our organisation."
