1. What is your innovation?

The creation of an affordable alternative system to telemedicine. Telehealth technology has been found to be an effective tool in reducing long standing queues at public hospitals. But the diffusion of telemedicine remains a dream in resource poor communities where power black outs prevail. The PICOMEDICINE Initiative is the answer.

2. Who gains the most?

Mothers, young children and the elderly benefit the most. But the initiative will further try to revolutionize healthcare delivery in developing communities so that it benefit all.

3. Who pays?

The customer has to buy the device, but strategic alliances will be made with the government and NGOs to make sure all can afford the less costly PICOMEDICINE system.

4. What is your success?

The delivery of healthcare services which were not deliverable in marginalized communities is the success of the present initiative.

5. How will you do it?

The implementation shall be based on the key strategic milestones and principles developed in the business plan. Customer needs shall be the basis of all the pricing, and that will guarantee quick acceptance and growth.
