Research interests include cellular neuroscience, developmental biology and genetics, immunology, microbiology and lipid transport, in both plants and animals. Molecular mechanisms that control cell structure and function as well as the organization of cells into complex organs or organ systems within single organisms. How do the cells respond to stress?
