VICTORIA - Thousands of people across the country and on Vancouver Island raised their voices in solidarity today. They gathered to urge the federal and provincial governments to fund a contentious treatment for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. The province has kicked in 700000 dollars for research, but local groups say more needs to be done - now.
