As the world struggles to beat the novel coronavirus, many of us are practicing self-isolation. Doing so will slow the disease’s progression and help us return to normal faster. But self-isolating is not always easy, and spending a lot more time at home can get overwhelming. If you’re a business manager, that stress is compounded according to ZenBusiness; carrying the extra burdens of managing operations, supervising employees, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance adds to the stress. There’s never been a greater need for caring for your physical and mental well-being.

With that in mind, here are some resources from Femto Medicine to keep up your self-care routine.

Exercise Is Your Best Friend

Self-isolation does not mean that you and your family have to stay in your living room. You can still exercise at home, in your neighborhood, or at your local park. These ideas can keep you moving and reduce stress.

Eating Well

If you haven’t noticed, many of your friends (and possibly you) have turned to cooking and baking as a form of comfort during this unprecedented period. Unfortunately, these extra calories may take longer to shake than the virus itself. That does not mean that you can’t enjoy time in the kitchen, but stick to smart practices, such as these.

You can’t control what’s happening in the world; what you can control is how you react to it. Don’t slack off in the exercise and healthy eating department. When things return to normal, you’ll be healthy and ready to enjoy life.
