Results of Some Natural BPH Treatments Are Uncertain While Dr. Allen’s Device Can Help to Protect from Prostate Gland …

Posted: Published on September 30th, 2012

A new article in Oman Daily, Observer states that homoeopathy may be able to treat enlarged prostate but it is unclear how it is achieved, whereas Dr. Allens device is designed with a clear purpose to terminate prostate enlargement by improving blood circulation in the affected prostate tissue that protects men from erectile dysfunction after BPH surgeries and other prostate removal procedures, states Fine Treatment. London, UK (PRWEB) September 25, 2012 In this article, Dr. N. Karnalkar says: The treatment is started with proven homoeopathic remedies, and in a few weeks time the symptoms start improving. Hypertrophy of prostate, prostatitis, chronic infections of urinary tract, low libido are successfully treated. He also adds, Medical therapy failure and urinary retention are the main causes for surgical intervention. While homoeopathic remedies may be generally harmless and bring some symptomatic improvement, their efficacy is unreliable, and the long-term results are sadly highly uncertain as they do not address the ultimate causes of prostate problems. The Thermobalancing therapy, on the other side, works to relieve BPH symptoms to the point of no medical urgency for a surgery. The therapy with Dr. Allens device for prostate care gradually cleanses the prostate gland by improving the … Continue reading

As We See It: Political conventions: Why bother

Posted: Published on August 29th, 2012

Tempest in a tea party? Has there ever been a more potent symbol of the impotency of political conventions than Tampa's Republican-fest, where the first day of windy speechmaking was wiped out by a threat of strong winds and rain? Not to minimize the anxiety felt by Gulf Coast residents, especially in the New Orleans area, as Isaac approached, but does anyone actually care about conventions? These quadrennial gatherings long ago lost any sense of purpose or even media attention, although the 2008 ridiculously excessive coronation of then-Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on a Denver stage made to look like a Greek temple was widely watched by voters who bought into the concept of hope and change. Fast-forward four years and Obama's bright and promising new politics has become just more relentless partisanship. The 2012 Obama is all about raising huge sums to pay for partisan attacks, anything to win re-election -- while presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney hopes for a convention boost by convincing voters Obama is a failed president, a theme sounded Tuesday evening by keynoter New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Democrats meet next week in Charlotte, N.C., and the storms may have blown over by then -- … Continue reading

Not having child does not prove impotency: High Court

Posted: Published on July 24th, 2012

Observing that there is a marked difference between 'infertility' and 'impotency', Bombay High Court today set aside a 1994 order of divorce. The family court, in October 1994, had granted divorce to the husband (then 42 years old) on the ground that the wife (then 45 years old) was impotent, a valid ground for divorce as contemplated by Section 12 (1) (a) of Hindu Marriage Act. The wife challenged the divorce order in High Court. The division bench of Justices A M Khanwilkar and A R Joshi today set aside the divorce, observing that family court had erred in equating infertility with impotency. "The family court held that inability to give birth to a child presupposed that woman is impotent. This view taken by the family court is erroneous and it is wrong in accepting infertility of a woman equivalent to her impotency," the bench said. The family court had said that even after 16 years of marriage, there was no child, which was sufficient to establish that wife was impotent. "We must say that the family court has definitely committed an error in arriving at such a conclusion and treating impotency and infertility at par. There is a marked … Continue reading

Defending the Prophet

Posted: Published on July 4th, 2012

The vicious campaigns being waged against the Muslim nation have now transcended all boundaries. Not content with their false accusations against Muslims, the organizers of these campaigns have crossed the red line by targeting Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, who is being subjected to blasphemous attacks. It is not unusual to see these attacks coming from Orientalists and Western missionaries as they have done throughout history. What is not usual is the seeming inability of the Muslim nation to come to the defense of its Prophet. Arab money invested in the West amounts to hundreds of billions of dollars. This money could have been used to seek legal advice, using the very legislation in those countries where the attacks originate. It could have been used to solicit the services of law offices all over the world as well as using the media, especially satellite television. If this money is not used to defend Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, when and where and how is it going to be used? Taking firm action against anyone found to blaspheme the Prophet, pbuh, while threatening them with legal action would make those individuals think twice before attempting to commit such an act. The case … Continue reading

Angels 3, Indians 0: Tribe lays egg on scoreboard

Posted: Published on July 3rd, 2012

CLEVELAND: It was a game in which Indians batsmen couldnt be blamed for their impotency. They were, in fact, expected to struggle mightily Monday night against the Los Angeles Angels, who opened a three-game set at Progressive Field with a 3-0 win. Jered Weaver makes a habit of shutting down offenses much more explosive than the Tribes. And he had little trouble doing what he usually does, delivering seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits and three walks. Though Weaver (9-1, 2.13 ERA) is a load for any rival attack to handle, he has been especially lethal at Progressive Field, where he is 5-0 in eight starts. In fact, Weaver has the second lowest ERA of any pitcher who has made at least five starts on Tribe turf, lowering that figure to 1.52 Monday night. Unfortunately, we couldnt do much offensively, manager Manny Acta said. We didnt have a very good approach to Weaver the first five or six innings. Im not taking anything away from him, because he does this to teams every five days. But I felt we were swinging at his pitches, and we were swinging too early in the count. I know he was throwing strikes, but … Continue reading

Women in Iraq face court-ordered virginity tests

Posted: Published on July 2nd, 2012

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Women in Iraq face court-ordered virginity tests that often show they were virgins until marriage but shame them nonetheless, doctors at an institute that carries out the tests and a lawyer told AFP. Remaining a virgin until marriage can be an issue of life or death for women in the Middle East, where those who are seen as having dishonored the family by having premarital sex are sometimes killed by male relatives. Several virginity tests are performed per day at the Medical Legal Institute (MLI) in Baghdad, in a small windowless room with blue-tiled walls and a black table with leg stirrups at one end. Other equipment includes a white scope on a wheeled stand and a bright white light, also on wheels, near the end of the table. "Most of the cases we received after the first day of marriage," said Dr Munjid al-Rezali, the director of the MLI. "The husband claims that she is not a virgin, and then the family bring her here, through the courts, this all come through the courts, and we examine her," Rezali said, speaking in English. "It's not uncommon, we are seeing a lot," he added. The tests include … Continue reading

San Antonio's Cisneros opens up about cancer battle

Posted: Published on June 19th, 2012

SAN ANTONIO - Henry Cisneros still talks about housing and urban development with passion, about the future of cities and the ways in which immigrant communities can help the country thrive. He still talks politics and remains involved with President Barack Obama's re-election campaign. But these days, the former San Antonio mayor and U.S. housing secretary also talks a lot about RADS, or radiation absorbed dosages, in the same energetic, enthusiastic tone, as if explaining a new pension fund in which his company is investing. It's almost like he's not talking about cancer. His cancer. Cisneros, who turned 65 last week and just published a book about aging, is fighting prostate cancer, among the most common diseases among men. This year, nearly 242,000 cases will be diagnosed and more than 28,000 men will die, according to the American Cancer Society. Prostate cancer is tough for men to talk about, especially in public, and perhaps more so for a man who has spent so much of his life in the public eye - for better and worse. If he's squeamish or uncomfortable, it doesn't show. He laughs about what fellow patients and survivors have told him about their journeys and how … Continue reading

Early intervention gives hope

Posted: Published on June 17th, 2012

Posted on June 17, 2012, Sunday IN PARTNERSHIP: Carpenter and his daughter, Katie during a workshop presentation at the recent 4th NECIC in Sibu. WINNIE Koay looked resplendent in her fiery red top as she stepped confidently on stage with a long, shining sword gripped in one hand recently. She came in perfectly on cue to the music and for the next few minutes, all eyes in the room were on her as she flowed smoothly in time from one taiji form to the next, showing such controlled poise, balance and grace that the Sibu audience was left breathless at times. Earlier that day, Katie Carpenter showed no signs of nervousness or fatigue as she stood in front of the audience at an international conference, next to her professor father. Already, earlier that morning, this spunky young lady had helped him to facilitate a three-hour workshop attended by non-government organisations, government agencies and other members of the public. As she shared with the audience about her experiences and opinions, participants admired the contents of a thick clear folder which contains Katies resume. The folder is just about bursting at the seams from the dozens of certificates recognising Katies academic achievements, … Continue reading

Asia needs to fix financial safety net

Ministers and governors posing for a picture after the 15th Asean + 3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting in Manila May 3, 2012last month. China, Japan and South Korea agreed on Thursday to boost cross-investment in government bond markets, worth nearly a combined US$15 trillion, in a move that will better prepare the countries to protect their financial markets from external shocks. Reuters pic announced a package of initiatives designed to ensure their economies do not succumb to another balance of payments crisis. Reuters pic ASIA'S recent doubling of its financial safety net looks impressive. But it's more icing than cake. It is, in fact, unusable. There is no fund but a series of promises, the institutional mechanisms to replace International Monetary Fund (IMF)-type surveillance and conditionality have not been established, and there are no rapid-response procedures to handle a fast-developing financial emergency. With much fanfare, 3 East Asian (China, South Korea and Japan) and 10 Southeast Asian finance ministers, or Asean+3, last month announced a package of initiatives designed to ensure their economies do not succumb to another balance of payments crisis. They relate to the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation (CMIM), a self-managed reserve-pooling mechanism for its … Continue reading

Turkey: Could Ankara Make a Switch to a Powerful Presidency?

Posted: Published on June 15th, 2012

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoan's expressed desire to create a more powerful presidency threatens to complicate efforts to re-write Turkey's military-era constitution in order to provide clearer guarantees of individual liberties, local analysts believe. Since multi-party democracy was established in Turkey in the 1950s, parliament has been the center of political power, with the presidency largely symbolic and traditionally non-partisan. After declaring that last Julys election victory would be his last run for parliament, Erdoan appears to have his eyes firmly fixed on the presidency. But he seems equally determined not to share the traditional presidential fate of political impotency. "A further step should be taken to get more successful results for our country; it could be either a presidential or a semi-presidential system, said Erdoan in June 6 remarks to the ATV news channel. The suggestion that presidential powers should be enhanced is proving deeply contentious, with strong opposition coming from all main political parities. "He is talking about a huge change in the Turkish system without talking about checks and balances, not talking about making Turkey more democratic, just a strong leader," warned Yasmin Congar, the editor of Taraf (Partisan) newspaper, an outspoken past critic of the … Continue reading
