Eclipse Aesthetics Acquires International License for Aesthetic Applications of Platelet-Rich Plasma Technology

Eclipse Aesthetics, LLC, a leader in aesthetic medical devices and supplies, announced today that the company has entered into an exclusive, long-term license to sell and market the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) technology from Cascade Medical Enterprises, LLC (CME). The license covers aesthetics, dermatology and plastic surgery for all markets outside of the United States.

The Cascade technology, currently marketed under the brand name SELPHYL, is well known to aesthetic professionals as an excellent system to collect and concentrate platelets from a small sample of blood at the patient point of care. Numerous scientific and clinical papers have been published on this technology.
