Medical City Dallas Partners with Hunt Regional Healthcare for Cardiology Services – D Healthcare Daily

Medical City Dallas is teaming up with Greenville-based Hunt Regional Healthcare, a full-service hospital, to provide interventional cardiology services to Greenville and Northeast Dallas communities. A cardiac catheterization lab was opened June 15 and will be jointly operated.

The partnership aims to provide Hunt Regional patients with comprehensive cardiac care that can be accessed 24/7. Before the lab opened, Hunt Regional patients suffering from cardiac emergencies would travel to Medical City Dallas for heart and cardiovascular procedures, stents, and other medical services.

Medical City Dallas interventional cardiologists Drs. Ahad Hassan and Roger Belbel will lead the cardiac catheterization labs operations. Their team will include Hunt Regional and Medical City Dallas registered nurses and diagnostic imaging technicians.

Chris Mowan, CEO of Medical City Dallas, said in a statement that the partnership will help bring lifesaving interventional cardiology services to this community. Our physicians will help provide rapid, on-site diagnosis, and treatment which can reduce heart damage and save lives.
