NorthShore University HealthSystem's Division of Cardiology offers a Cardiology Fellowship training program, sponsored by the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. This Cardiology Fellowship program offers a unique opportunity for a general cardiovascular experience and community-based education. Fellows will receive high quality training in Cardiovascular Medicine including the performance of general cardiovascular procedures. The fellows will work in a high-volume Division of Cardiologycardiovascular division with educational opportunities at all four NorthShore hospitals (Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie). During the three year fellowship program, directed by Jorge Saucedo, MD, Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, the fellows will have the opportunity to work with busy clinicians and clinical researchers. General in-patient and out-patient consultation experience and imaging rotations (echocardiography, catheterization laboratory, nuclear medicine, cardiac MRI/CTA, vascular medicine), electrophysiology/holter, stress testing and dedicated research time will be the core components of this program.
