Renowned pediatric cardiologist John P. Breinholt, M.D. has been named the chief of pediatric cardiology at Childrens Memorial Hermann Hospital. He will also serve as the director of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. With his extensive expertise and work in pediatrics, and specifically in the cardiovascular area, Dr. Brienholt will be a wonderful leader to the staff and medical team here, said Eric Eichenwald, M.D., physician-in-chief at Childrens Memorial Hermann Hospital.
