Monday, March 25, Cheryl Probert will become the Acting Forest Supervisor until the position is filled permanently. Probert is currently the Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. She has been employed with the Forest Service for 25-years. She is a top notch leader, said current Forest Supervisor Jacque Buchanan. Cheryl is familiar with the Bridger-Teton and should be able to step right in behind me. Buchanan will begin her work as the Director for Renewable Resources in Lakewood, Colo. Her last day as Forest Supervisor of the Bridger-Teton is Friday, March 22. According to Buchanan, she took the position to pursue her passion for Range Management. Probert grew up in a small town in northeastern Vermont before moving to Missoula, Mont., to attend the University of Montana.
