Rite Aid Armed Robbery010213 001 Boone Police are seeking a suspect in the armed robbery of the Rite Aid Drug Store. The young white male entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy at Shops of Shadowline in Boone around 2 this afternoon, passing a note at the pharmacy apparently demanding drugs and saying that he had a gun in his pocket. Boone Police were notified while the suspect was still in the drug store, and the call went out, answered by an SBI agent who had just pulled into the parking lot, and just as he approached a man was hurrying from the store and was immediately apprehended mdash;but he turned out to be a father hurrying back to his children in his car. The suspect was described as wearing a dark toboggan, gray sweatshirt, seen leaving the store in the direction of the greenway, but a perimeter set up in the area and searches of a number of areas and similarly dressed men turned up no suspects at this point.
