People who frequently alter the amount of sleep and time they go to bed each night are twofold more likely to develop cardiovascular disease, independent of traditional CVD risk factors, new research suggests. Prior studies have focused on shift workers because night shift work will influence circadian rhythm and increase CVD risk.
