The backlash against the fashion duo continues to grow after they called babies born via IVF synthetic and said gay adoption was unnatural.

Celebrities are joining the boycott against Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana after the duo gave an explosive interview to Italian magazine Panorama, in which they called babies born via IVF chemical offsprings. Considering so many celebrities have turned to IVF to conceive, (including Nicole Kidman, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion), we arent surprised by the backlash the designers are facing from the Hollywood set. Elton John was the first to speak out against the shocking comments and it didnt take long for celebrities to support the singer, taking to Twitter with the hashtag #BoycottDolceGabbana.

Elton John, whose two sons with husband David Furnish were conceived via IVF treatment, spoke out regarding the comments on Instagram. How dare you refer to my beautiful children as synthetic? John whose two sons, Zachary and Elijah, with husband David Furnish were conceived through IVF treatment wrote on Instagram. And shame on you for wagging your judgmental little fingers at IVF a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfill their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana.

After Elton expressed his outrage is wasnt long before celebs began to publicly support the singer. Victoria Beckham took to Twitter to speak out regarding the controversy and used Eltons original hashtag, #BoycottDolceGabbana, with the message: Sending love to Elton David Zachary Elijah & all the beautiful IVF babies, Beckham wrote.

Courtney Love also was quick to react to the news. Just round up all my Dolce & Gabbana pieces, I want to burn them. Im just beyond words and emotions. Boycott senseless bigotry! #boycottD&G.

Ricky Martin, who has twin boys that were born via a surrogate, also spoke up. @dolcegabbana ur voices R 2powerfull 2B spreading so much h8. Wake up,Its 2015 Luv urselves guys.

Ryan Murphy, the screenwriter behind Nip/Tuck, Glee and American Horror Story, also took to Twitter to slam the designers. These designers horrifying views are never in fashion. Their clothes are as ugly as their hate.

Dolce and Gabbana spoke out about nontraditional families in Italian magazine Panorama, calling children conceived via IVF synthetic and calling them chemical offsprings. The comments were especially shocking because the designers paid homage to mothers and children in their latest runway show, coupled with the fact that the designers are gay and used to be romantically involved with one another.

They have yet to apologize for the statements, but what do you think? Are you shocked by their latest interview?
