Greys Anatomy: April & Jackson Need To Make Their Marriage Work

April Kepner and Jackson Avery made us wait forever before finally getting together on Greys Anatomy, so why are theyheaded for splitsville already? Well, too bad April and Jackson now that you are finally together, you need to make it work!

On the April 17 episode of Greys Anatomy, April and Jacksons differences finally came to a head, leaving the couples future in limbo.

Okay, I can not believe that we are already facing another April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) split. Even though there have been constant red flags since they eloped, I really thought they would be one of the few to live happily ever after.

But then, on the April 17 episode of Greys Anatomy, I was reminded that there are no happily ever afters at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, formerly known as Seattle Grace.

When April confronted Jackson about his constant dismissal of her religious and personal beliefs, things finally hit a boiling point. Jacksons confession that he does not believe in God was shocking all around, but even more so for April, who has shaped her life around her faith in God. However, her reaction was even more shocking. Whenshe welled up in tears I thought she was heartbroken over their broken relationship, but instead she admitted that she pitied him for his lack of beliefs. Ouch!

However, I have to say thatApril and Jackson really, truly love each other. Ithas been obviousfrom the moment they started making eyes at each other in the hospital. So, they need to make this work.

They have made it through SO much already. From their on-again/off-again sex-heavy relationship, to Aprils relationship with paramedic Matthew Taylor (Justin Bruening), to the moment April thought Jackson had died in the car explosion outside of the hospital. Of course after they got married, they had to face even more obstacles especially Averys controlling mother.

April and Jackson startedoff dismissing her beliefs TOGETHER. When April decided to let Jackson take her virginity, he protested at first, but she convinced him it was what she wanted. They lived in sin then, and even though April struggled with it she still continued to go along with it.So, how did she not see this coming?

Technically, April did this to herself. She dismissed her own beliefs for Jackson time and time again, and then some more, so of course he no longer takes it seriously. If she only takes it seriously part-time, why should he have to take it serious full-time?
