Hospital Referral Market Share of Hartford HealthCare at Home, Connecticut, from Hartford Hospital increased by 3.95% between Q2 2016 and Q2 2019

From Q2 2016 to Q2 2019, the hospital referral market share of Hartford HealthCare at Home from the Hartford Hospital increased, from 60.34% to 64.29%. Interestingly, however, the total number of episodes registered at Hartford HealthCare at Home from Hartford Hospital for the same period, decreased. While in Q2 2016, the total number of episodes was 455, it slightly reduced, to 432 in Q2 2019.

Although in Q2 2017, the total number of episodes for the agency from Hartford Hospital saw a significant increase (577 episodes), for the same quarter in 2018, it again reduced to 467. Between Q2 2017 and Q2 2018, the market share also witnessed a marginal drop, from 65.05% to 63.19%. However, between Q2 2018 and Q2 2019, the hospital referral market share increased from 63.19% to 64.29%, even though the total number of episodes registered reduced from 467 to 432.
