Texas high school anatomy teacher arrested for alleged sex with student in La Vernia

Taylor Vader, a physics and anatomy teacher and tennis coach at La Vernia High School, has been arrested and charged with two counts of improper relationship between an educator and student and sexual assault of a child. La Vernia Independent School District officials first learned of the allegations on Jan. 30, 2014, and took "immediate action" by placing the teacher on administrative leave, La Vernia ISD Superintendent Jose H. Moreno wrote in a letter published to the district's website on Jan. 31, 2014.
