Track 1: Heart Diseases and Failure

Heart diseasesare the disorders that affect the heart. Diseases under the heart diseases umbrella include blood vessel diseases, such ascoronary arterydisease,heart rhythmproblems (arrhythmias), and heart defects i.e. congenital heart defects, Rheumatic heart disease, Hypertensive heart disease,Ischemic heart disease, Hypertension etc.

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart can't pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. The term Heart failure doesnt mean that the heart has stopped its functions. CHD can lead to heart failure by weakening the heart muscle over time. However, heart failure is a serious condition that requires medical care.

Cardiology rate of increase for women much slower than other areas. Overwhelming majority of women work full-time 33% of women performed fluoro- procedures while pregnant. 29% of women did not receive any information about radiations.

Cardiovascular diseases continues to be the leading cause of death among women in the states. Sex-specific data focused on cardiovascular disease have been increasing steadily yet is not routinely collected nor translated into practice. This comprehensive review focuses on novel and unique aspects of cardiovascular health in women and sex differences as they relate to clinical practice in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Track 4: Genetic Cardiology

Genetic cardiology is the process of searching through the DNA sequence of disease-associated genes to identify a sequence variation that is pathogenic (mutation). In general, genetic testing is considered when an individual has a clinical diagnosis of an inherited heart disease, particularly if there is a positive family history. Initial genetic testing to identify a causative mutation is ideally offered to a member of the family who has definite clinical disease to maximise the chance of detecting a mutation.

Paediatric Cardiologyis defined as a division that is responsible for the diagnosis of congenital heart defects in in infants, children, and adolescents, including embryology and anatomy, physiology and pharmacology, biochemistry, pathology, genetics, radiology, clinical aspects, investigative cardiology, electrophysiology and echocardiography, and cardiac surgery. The various inflammatory heart diseases includes Myocarditis, Kawasaki disease is a rare childhood illness that affects the blood vessels.There are also other pericardial diseasesthat can present clinically asacute pericarditis, pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade, and constrictive pericarditis. Infectiveendocarditisis a form of endocarditis. It is an inflammation of the inner tissues of the heart. These are the main inflammatory defects for Babies Heart.

Track 6: Heart Transplantation

Heart transplantation isthereplacementofadiseasedorinjuredheartof the patients witha healthydonorheart. It is mainly done with patients who are in the end stage of heart failureor severecoronary artery diseasewhen other medical or surgical treatments have failed. The patient's own heart is replaced with the donor heart by orthotropic. The recipient's diseased heart is left in place to support the donor heart. Although heart transplant surgery is a life-saving measure, it has many risks. Careful monitoring, treatment, and regular medical care can prevent or help manage some of these risks.

Track 7: Hypertensive Heart Disease

Hypertensive heart diseaseis caused by the high blood pressurethat affects theheart.The symptoms and signs of hypertensive heart disease will depend on whether or not it is accompanied byheart failure. The heart working under increased pressure leads to some other heart disorders. Hypertensive heart disease includes heart failure, thickening of the heart muscle, coronary artery disease, etc. In the absence of heart failure, hypertension, with or without enlargement of the heart (left ventricular hypertrophy) is usually symptomless. Hypertensive heart disease can cause serious health problems. Its the leading cause of death from high blood pressure.

Cardiovascular toxicologyis concerned with the adverse effects of extrinsic and intrinsic stresses on the heart and vascular system. Extrinsic stress involves exposure to therapeutic drugs, natural products, and environmentaltoxicants. Intrinsic stress refers to exposure to toxic metabolites derived from nontoxic compounds such as those found in food additives and supplements.
