COLUMBIA-GREENE COMMUNITY COLLEGE John Lombardi has been appointed assistant professor of Construction Technology at Columbia-Greene Community College, taking the helm of a new program that welcomed its first class this September. Lombardi earned a master of science degree from Mountain State University School of Leadership and Professional Development in Beckley, W.Va.

He also received a certificate of management excellence from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., and holds a bachelor of arts degree from Pace University of Pleasantville.

BST & CO. CPAs

Financial and management consulting firm BST & Co. CPAs, LLP, announced a series of promotions within its audit and accounting department.

Ann DeLucco and Jonathan Gibbs were named senior manager. Kristin P. Vaddiraja was named manager.

DeLucco has a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Fordham University.

Gibbs is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Vaddiraja is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

FENIMORE ASSET MANAGEMENT

Fenimore Asset Management, the investment adviser to FAM Funds, appointed Kevin D. Gioia, to co-manager of the FAM Small Cap Fund. Gioia, a graduate of Siena College, has been a Fenimore investment research analyst for nine years and has assisted with the FAM Small Cap Fund for the past four years.

LEVER POINT MANAGEMENT

Paul Pruyn joined LeverPoint as a Senior Accountant I. He holds a master of science degree in accounting from Siena College. Prior to joining LeverPoint, Pruyn worked as an assistant controller at D.A. Collins Construction and prior to that as a staff accountant at LeverPoint.

Matthew Schilling joined as a senior accountant II. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance with a Minor in Information Systems from Siena College. Previously, he was a finance manager at ValueWise Corp.

HEALTH CARE

ALBANY MEDICAL CENTER

Shannon Andrews, a pediatric infectious disease specialist with special interest in antimicrobial stewardship, patients with impaired or weakened immune systems and medical education, has joined Albany Med's Department of Pediatrics.

Andrews completed her fellowship in adult and pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. She received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Oberlin College in Ohio.

Jessica L. Geaney, a pediatric hematologist/oncologist with special interests in survivorship and leukemia/lymphoma, has joined the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

She was appointed director of the Melodies Center's survivorship program and assistant professor of Pediatrics at Albany Medical College.

ST. PETER'S HEALTH PARTNERS

St. Peter's Health Partners announced the following new hires.

Kelsey Leder has joined Albany Associates in Cardiology. A board-certified physician assistant, Leder previously practiced at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.

Erika Smith has joined Albany Associates in Cardiology. Board-certified in family medicine, Smith previously worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse.

Brittany Lossow has joined Capital Region Family Health Care. Board-certified in family health, Lossow previously worked at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Nish Patel has joined Albany Associates in Cardiology. Fellowship-trained and board-certified in cardiology, Patel practices interventional and structural cardiology.

Lindsay Lachant has joined Capital Region Midwifery. Lachant previously practiced at the Connecticut Childbirth and Women's Center in Danbury, Conn.

NEW YORK STATE SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION

Tara Maroney has joined the New York State School Boards Association as project and web content manager. Maroney earned bachelor's degrees in business administration, journalism and sociology from the University of Connecticut, and a master's degree in Public Relations from Boston University.

PIA MANAGEMENT SERVICES

PIA Management Services Inc., has hired Alexandra Chouinard of Saratoga Springs, Briana Hampson of Albany and Dylan Thorwell of Albany.

Chouinard works in the communications department as a writer and social media specialist, Hampson works in the member services department as a member retention representative, and Thorwell works in the information technology department as a web developer.

Barclay Damon announced it is adding a three-attorney banking and public finance group from Harris Beach PLLC, consisting of Kevin Bezio, partner; Alexis Clement, counsel; and Eric Brenner, associate, effective immediately.

The three attorneys, who have practiced together for a number of years, will work in Barclay Damon's Albany office.

JACKSON LEWIS

Greg Riolo was appointed Albany office managing principal. Riolo, who joined Jackson Lewis in 1997 and served as the Albany office litigation manager from 2008 through 2016, concentrates his practice on employment-related litigation and counseling. Riolo earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his bachelor's degree from Lehigh University.

Mosaic Associates Architects has promoted associate partner Theresa Moroukian to full principal. A 27-year employee of Mosaic, Moroukian has extensive experience managing all financial and human resource matters for the multimillion-dollar firm.
