Do not jump in immediately to give your opinion, wait for the child to complete.

Until you keep your patience in control, you can help a child sail through difficulties.

Whenever your child comes to you with problems, listen and validate.

Even if it is difficult to be told or heard, always encourage honesty in the house.

Meaningful conversations will help a child pick good habits.

Do not leave them on their own when they are mentally feeling low. Instead reach out to them and give them a hug.

Believe them and create an ambience that they believe in you too.

Recognise their positive values and appreciate them.

Respect has no age. Even a small child deserves respect.

It is important to teach your child relaxation and mindfulness from an early age.

Teach your child the act of forgiveness, one of the biggest virtues.
