Pawnee Mental Health Services hosts inaugural ‘Driving the Dream’ event – WIBW

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Pawnee Mental Health Services hosted their inaugural 'Driving the Dream' at the Midwest Dream Car Collection in Manhattan Thursday evening.

Thursday night's event was emcee'd by Dave Lewis, longtime advocate for Pawnee Mental Health Services.

This event featured videos explaining the services that Pawnee mental health provides as well as testimonials from community members who have used the services.

Guests at the event were given the opportunity to support Pawnee Mental Health Services in many ways, whether that's financially or being an advocate to let others in the community know about the services provided.

"We have a three year initiative, to help develop relationships with private citizens in the community who are interested in supporting Pawnee mental health." Pawnee Mental Health Services, Executive Director, Robbin Cole says.

Pawnee Mental Health Services will continue to expand its services with a ribbon cutting on October 18th at their Crisis Stabilization Center in Manhattan.
