The Town of High River is going to be doing a lot more things online over the next few weeks and months to keep residents up to date on what's happening with the Town during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Mayor Craig Snodgrass says one thing they'll really try to focus on is mental health issues.

"We are going to be doing a few more things with the Town's Website. Kind of a "wellness corner" thing that we're going to be promoting different activities and stuff that's going on. This is a big learn from the flood days and we know that the mental health of our community is extremely important and it will not be dealt with when the virus goes away. There's long term effects with this."

As for Town business, Snodgrass says Council will only meet through conference calls and video chat for the foreseeable future.
